The mission of the Recreation/Cultural Department is to provide comprehensive recreational programs that meet the needs of a diverse and ever changing community. I strive to achieve a vital and responsive role to enrich the quality of life for the citizens of District Heights by providing Various Programs in the Recreation/Cultural Department:

Many of our Programs reflect the recreation interest of many of the District Heights residents. We offerRecreation opportunities within the financial ability of all people, and Recreation programs for residents with varying degrees of skills and programs for progressive advancement.

We have events and occasions for citizens to become involved in recreational planning and to assist in implementing programs.
